We are excited to announce SHE Media’s new publisher referral program! We love working with the vast variety of publishers and content creators in our network and we want to reach more impressive publishers and content creators like you.
The SHE Media Collective provides a diverse portfolio of monetization opportunities to help creators turn their passions into profit. We partner with all types of publishers by providing ad monetization, e-commerce syndication, growth products, education resources, and much more. Our holistic approach helps publishers drive additional revenue. This new referral program gives our publishers another way to earn while helping us reach more creators and grow our community.
Here's the deal: If you refer a publishing website or blog and they successfully join SHE Media, we will pay you a commission. Keep reading to see all the details and guidelines.
Payment Awards Thresholds and Schedules
The payout for referrals will vary based on the size (pageviews) of the referred site. See below for payout thresholds and schedules.
The above payment schedule assumes the referred site accepts our standard terms and conditions. SHE Media reserves the right to edit or eliminate referral fees in cases where a site does not accept the standard T&Cs. You will be notified by SHE Media if this is the case.
*SHE Media’s payment cycle term is Net 35
** You will receive a payment of $1000 for every million pageviews per month generated by the site you refer. This payment is calculated based on the average monthly pageviews over the first three months. For instance, if the site averages 5 million pageviews per month during this period, you will receive a one-time fee of $5,000.
How to Refer a Site
If you would like to refer a site to the SHE Media Collective, fill out this form after which we will provide you with a unique referral link that you can share with who you are referring or with your network. We promise to carefully review each referral and notify you if they go live with SHE Media.
If you know someone who is a non-SHE Media Collective member with a vast professional network of publishers or bloggers, feel free to send them the referral form and they too can get paid.

Referral Program Guidelines and Eligibility Requirements
Please note that any website you refer to us has to meet our eligibility requirements and fully join our network for you to get paid.
Referred sites must have a minimum of 20,000 pageviews per month
SHE Media will verify the referred site's pageviews using Google Analytics
The referred website or blog must be approved to join the SHE Media Collective. Our team will review each referral to ensure it meets our quality standards. If the site is rejected, you will be informed.
Referred sites must have regularly published high-quality content. We're looking for individuals or sites that can captivate and engage audiences with their unique perspectives, amazing storytelling, and useful content.
The referred site must agree to and sign a standard contract with SHE Media or adhere to the adjusted term period
The referred site must implement SHE Media’s recommended ad layout
Referral for sites in the 20k - under 1MM pageviews, the referral fee will be paid in the next payment cycle ( Net 35)
For the >1MM pageview tiers, the site must be live with SHE Media for 3 months before you receive the referral fee.
If the referrer is a SHE Media Collective partner, the payment will be added to their monthly earnings and be shown in the Beyond the Banner section of their Publisher Portal reporting page.
If the referrer is not a SHE Media Collective member, they will need to create a payee profile with us if based in the US, create a W2 and fill out an ACH form.
If the referrer is not part of the SHE Media Collective, they will need to create a payee profile with us (for US-based individuals, that involves creating a W2 and filling out an ACH form. For an individual outside of the US, that would involve filling out an FW8 form and providing us with a PayPal address)s.
Referral Program FAQs
How many sites can I refer at a time?
There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. Feel free to share your referral link with your network and blast it to your community.
How will I get paid?
If the referrer is a SHE Media Collective partner, the payment will be added to their monthly earnings and be shown in the Beyond the Banner section of their Publisher Portal reporting page.
When will I get paid?
For referred sites below 1 million pageviews, you will get paid in the next NET 35 payment cycle after the sites are live (so in about a month). For sites above 1 million pageviews, you will get paid after the site has been live for 3 months.
When will I know if a site I referred has been accepted and signed to SHE Media?
We will notify you once the site has been accepted or rejected.
How long does it take for a site to go live?
Sites can take any number of days to go live, as all sites have to complete SHE Media's onboarding steps, as well as Google's MCM process. While we can help expedite sites through our steps, MCM approvals happen on Google's timeline, and that process can take anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks or longer if there are issues. Our team is committed to helping every site finish this process.
Will every site referred be approved?
Only sites that fit SHE Media's editorial guidelines as well as the technical requirements of our network will be approved. It is possible that some sites might not meet that criteria.
Can I put in my second site as a referral?
No. This program is only for referring new publishers to the Collective. If you would like to add a second site to the network, please reach out to our support team (support@shemedia.zendesk.com)
Do I need to be a member of the SHE Media Collective to refer a site?
No! Anyone can refer to a site. Being a Collective member means we already have your payment details on file, but it doesn't stop anyone from referring us to new sites.
